Bullet
(or nipple) indicators have been used on buses after semaphores till 07/63. US
regulations made Volkswagen to stop the production of cars with semaphores
sooner as the European regulations. The bullet indicator was the first step in
indicator progress to create more visibility and a safer driving. Beetles for
US market had also bullet indicators from mid 55 till end of oval but the size
is different like the bus ones… We have now finished this base plate and are
sold in pairs.

available under BBT reference 0616-495 and 0616-496 and the lenses for these
indicators under BBT ref 0616-490.
