How can I determine if the part is suitable for my car?

To optimize your search experience, we have incorporated useful filters, including the VW-type filter. Use this filter to see only the parts specifically suitable for your chosen vehicle, based on factory specifications.

Each part in our store comes with a detailed description with additional information, including the years in which the part was delivered or dimensions. It is always important to check the model year before placing an order. A buyer has a duty to investigate. All known model years are listed under technical data. If no specific information is provided, the part is suitable for all model years and types. If only one model year is mentioned, the part is
suitable for all types from or until the specified model year. Note: The terms left, right, front, and rear are viewed from the driver’s seat.

After the part number, additional information such as color, side, version, etc., may be mentioned. Convertible owners should be aware that these details may differ from the sedan version. Therefore, specifically refer to the parts intended for the convertible. If this specific part is not listed, the sedan and convertible parts are the same. Always compare the image to ensure you are ordering the correct part.

What can I expect from your warranty policy?

For almost all parts offered at Luftgekuhlt Parts, we apply the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty period varies by  manufacturer and part, so it needs to be assessed for each specific part. It is important that all parts are installed by skilled individuals, as our warranty is based on this. Installation instructions, if provided, are to support the part. The warranty does not apply in case of incorrect installation and/or improper use of the part. Please note that there are exceptions, and the following groups of parts are not covered by warranty:

1. Used parts
2. NOS parts
3. Electrical parts: Since it is often impossible to determine whether defects are due to the part itself or the method of installation, there is no warranty for electrical parts.

Parts covered by the warranty will be replaced or refunded free of charge, including any return costs. Warranty applies only to the first owner, as evidenced by the purchase invoice.

Can I return ordered parts?

At Luftgekuhlt Parts, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with our products. Familiarize yourself with our return policy and warranty handling procedures, as described below:

Returns within the Legal Inspection Period (14 days):

If, for a legitimate reason, you find that an item does not meet your expectations within the legal inspection period of 14 days from the moment of receipt, you can initiate a return. This applies as long as the item is not specially ordered for you, unused, or New Old Stock (NOS) with intact packaging, no assembly traces, and unbroken seals. The 14-day inspection period starts from the moment you receive the item and, in the case of partial deliveries, from the receipt of the last item. Luftgekuhlt Parts will assess the returned item within 10 days of receipt and resolve the issue, including applicable refunds.

Return Costs: Please note that the costs for returning items are not covered by Luftgekuhlt Parts and are the responsibility of the buyer. However, shipping costs paid during the initial order will be  reimbursed unless it is a single product in an order with multiple  products.

Incorrectly ordered item:
If you accidentally order the wrong item, you can return it within the 14-day trial period, provided it is not specially ordered for you, used, or NOS. The goods must be in a saleable condition (undamaged packaging, no assembly traces, and unbroken seals).

Luftgekuhlt Parts delivered the wrong item:
In the event that Luftgekuhlt Parts delivers the wrong item, we will bear the return costs. Contact us to initiate the return process.

Returns due to incompatibility:
If an item does not fit or is otherwise unsuitable, please let us know before returning it. Wewill work with you to find an alternative or a suitable solution.

Can I exchange articles?

Exchange is only applicable for new parts*. Exchanging is the same as returning the incorrectly ordered item and placing a new order for the desired item. For the return process, please refer to the section “Can I return ordered parts?”.

*Parts that are specially ordered, custom-made, NOS (New Old Stock), or used cannot be returned and therefore cannot be exchanged.

How long will it take before I receive my order?

Once you place an order, we will do everything we can to process your order for shipment as soon as possible. In most cases this happens on the same day. You can then expect your package on the next working day or the following day.

Can I still change my order?

Unfortunately, once the order has been confirmed, we cannot change the order. This is because we always try to get your order to your home as quickly as possible, which makes the processing time very expensive. If you still need an extra part, you will have to place an additional order.
